The Immortal Peach

In Chinese mythology, Peaches of Immortality are consumed by the Immortals and the heavenly court due to their virtue of conferring vibrant health and longevity on all who eat them. We blend our Organic Jade Oolong Tea with diced peaches to cultivate our take on the legendary mystic qualities of The Immortal Peach in a heavenly brew. We balance the flavors of this blend with perfect hints of apple and stevia leaf. All the ingredients come together to serve and highlight peach as the central flavor component. Because we use higher quality naturally dried peaches and apples that do not contain sulfur (the ordinary preservative in dried fruit) and are not freeze dried like in some teas, the pieces tend to separate, stick, and clump together. Because of this, we recommend making sure you have pieces of every ingredient included when scooping the tea out of the bag. Also, the naturally dried fruit require a much longer steep time than freeze dried, about 10 or 15 minutes. The wait is well worth it though; the difference in flavor that is actually produced by the naturally dried peaches and apples and not an added flavoring has to be experienced to be believed!
