Pu-erh tea
Our Pu-erh Tea comes from the Yunnan Province in China. Yunnan is considered the birthplace of the tea tree, and many wild tea trees grow there, some even dating back almost 3,000 years. Due to the popularity of a locally aged dark tea, Pu-erh, Emperor Yongzheng established the Pu-erh prefecture in 1729 in southwest Yunnan. Today, Yunnan is considered the second largest tea producing region in China, and the number one region for Pu-erh. We offer an organic Tuo Cha Pu-erh tea, which are small Pu-erh cakes. One small tea cake, when brewed, is sure to make you feel like you are part of the ancient tea tradition.
